With the oil-free TORNADO® T.Sano® Smooth in smooth surface, you can pump even the most demanding media in compliance with the strictest hygiene regulations. Its gentle product handling and pulsation-free pumping are particularly suitable for the food and beverage industry.
Compared to the regular version, the T.Sano® smooth has an entirely smooth housing on which hardly any kind of dirt or dust can accumulate. This is made possible by the compact and space-saving design, which avoids any corners, edges or dead spaces. Another decisive advantage offered by the T.Sano® is its CIP (Cleaning-In-Place) capability. This allows you to clean the system in a circular or continuous process without prior dismantling. Thanks to the cleanability of the pump chamber and the optimised outer contours, the rotary lobe pump meets the 3A standard and is also EHEDG-certified. However, you can not only clean the T.Sano® without prior dismantling but also fully service it: The FSIP® concept (Full Service In Place), which has been tried and tested for years, makes it possible. When used in wear-intensive applications, where increased service and maintenance is to be expected, you save considerable capacities and thus costs. The fact that the entire front can be opened gives you quick and easy access to the pump chamber right up to the flange connection.
1 Front cover
The cover can be opened from the front without expensive special tools. This gives you quick and easy access to the entire pump chamber.
2 Rotor
Two rotors in all-metal design: Due to the simple geometry, each rotor can be installed and removed independently. Also, no axial adjustment work is required on the rotary pistons.
3 Shaft sealing
Different seal designs can be installed without replacing the mechanical seal housing: "Plug and Play". A single mechanical seal with Quench, SIC or other materials and a double mechanical seal is available.
4 Rotor case
Various connection options, such as the milk thread (DIN 11851), Tri-Clamp or SMS, are available.
5 Bearing housing
The bearing housing construction ensures a compact as well as robust design and a resulting low space requirement.
6 Tooth belt drive
Oil free operation due to synchronised belt drive. This prevents any contamination of the pumped material. Also, it synchronises the pump at the same time.
7 Rotor setting device
The adjustment and assembly device located in the back cover is used to position the rotary pistons.
8 Back cover
The drive belt cover can be easily removed to replace the belt without having to remove the pump from the pipeline.
